SWAN HILL GYMNASTICS CLUB INC.
RULES AND REGULATIONS POLICY DOCUMENT

1. Annual insurance fees payable per gymnast are to be received by the club PRIOR to the commencement of the term. Failure to do so means your child is not covered in case of injury.


2. Insurance fees are NOT refundable.


3. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are non-gymnasts and gymnasts not enrolled in a session permitted on the gymnastics equipment and/ or the gymnastics floor.


4. Refunds are not given for Term fees simply for change of mind. However should a Gymnast become injured or relocate  we will issue a refund (relocation) or credit (illness/injury) via a pro rata system if during any term the gymnast  has participated in no more than 75% of a terms sessions. If a gymnast participated in equal to, or more than 75% of a term, a refund will not be granted.


5. All term fees MUST be paid upon online booking : otherwise gymnast’s enrolment may be subject to cancellation.


6. Any enrolment fee increase will be passed at AGM


7. Gymnasts will ONLY BE SUPERVISED in their designated gym lesson time within the gymnastics stadium. Please ensure your child is collected as soon as their session has ended. Gymnasts must be dropped off inside the shed and picked up inside the shed.


8. In the case of a gymnast injuring themselves, the club will either seek first aid from the clubs first aid officer or call an ambulance.


9. Any injuries treated by the first aid officer will be recorded in an accident/injury book.


10. Any child not participating in gymnastics must be supervised by a parent.


11. Suitable clothing is to worn by the gymnasts. E.g. Club uniform or other sports clothing. Jeans are NOT permitted to be worn. Hair to be tied back. Water bottle required.


12. Parents are encouraged to contact the Head Coach if they have any gymnastics concerns, preferable before or after a gymnastics session.


13. If any parent has any concerns with regards to the Head Coach they are encouraged to put their concerns in writing to the Committee or Administration Officer.


14. The club requires gymnasts and coaches alike to be polite, courteous & considerate of each other. Any swearing, bullying and discrimination will be reprimanded and ongoing cases will be dealt with according to the discretion of the Head Coach and Committee.


15. Failure to adhere to the rules will result in participant termination subject to coach and/or committee discretion.
